Abdimalik Abdullahi

Abdimalik is a multidisciplinary consultant and researcher who has undertaken a range of policy research mainly on issues around governance, democratization, security, and public policy in Somalia and across the Horn.

He is skilled in research, contextual political and security analysis, conflict analysis, policy formulation, program design, and strategic communication.

Over the past years, he has worked with several institutions including Federal Government of Somalia, Interpeace, ASAL Consulting, Somali Dialogue Platform/Somali Public Agenda, AMISOM, IOM, UNHCR, IRC, Africa Liberal Network (ALN), Regional Mixed Migration Secretariat (RMMS), among others. He also periodically consults for private organizations and clients offering Political Advisory, Security analysis, Political analysis among other client-tailored services. Abdimalik serves as Institutional Building consultant for Tigaal, working with a cross-cutting network in Somalia and the region by working/interacting with the institutions and high-ranking officials from HOA countries, the Federal Government of Somalia, and the Federal Member States.
